When Bo and Andy got in touch about their Chinese-English fusion wedding I was ridiculously excited! First off, Bo has been a friend of mine since secondary school (we won’t go into details about how old that makes us now) so I knew that the man she was marrying must be pretty special!

I think all wedding photographers remember the Summer of 2018 as the never ending wedding heatwave. Weeks upon weeks of hot weather and glorious sunshine but typically – this was the year I decided to take my first Summer holiday in years and missed out on most of it.

Becky and Andy held their stunning September wedding at the Manor Barn Cambridge, a new venue for me and one I would absolutely love to go back to again! This wedding was full of fun and laughter, with Becky’s eleven bridesmaids and Andy’s  nine groomsmen being especially good fun to photograph.

Emma and Brett’s winter wedding at the Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey, was my first wedding of 2019 and boy did it get off to a great start! The Tithe Barn is one of the latest barn venues run by the Cripps group, and having shot at several of their venues before I knew it was going to be pretty awesome.

  Every year, totally predictably, my new year’s resolutions are the same. Quit eating chocolate, start running again and share my work more often.  And as is typical for new year’s resolutions, I just can’t seem to stick to them.

As a Stamford wedding photographer I’m incredibly lucky to have the marvellous Irnham Hall right on my doorstep. This year I’ve had the pleasure of shooting there four times already and I  just love how it looks so beautiful in every season.

As soon as I met Lucy and Tom to talk about their wedding plans I knew I really wanted to photograph their day! I’m a huge fan of outdoorsy weddings (especially when they’re promised to be full of fun and lively guests) and any bride-to-be who is as excited and savvy about photography as Lucy means I can really have fun with the photos.

As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer, I get to shoot lots of outdoor weddings in the gardens of beautiful family homes. When I first met up with Hannah at her parent’s house in South Lincolnshire, I was blown away by the beautiful garden and had all my fingers crossed that the Spring Bank Holiday would be kind to us with some good weather.

Hedsor House is easily one of the most beautiful and photogenic wedding venues in Buckinghamshire. When Ros and Andrew first enquired about their October wedding there I was very excited, and kept my fingers crossed the weather would be good enough to get at least a few photos outside. When the day rolled round we certainly weren’t disappointed.
