Sarah and Nik’s wedding was a beautiful, bustling fusion of English and Indian traditions. I loved how they described their plans when we first met, and was so excited for their wedding day in August 2019.

I absolutely love photographing colourful, rustic weddings and was thrilled to bits when Hollie and Mark asked me to photograph their day at Irnham Hall last September. Not only was their colour palette a feast for my eyes, but everywhere I looked there were big laughs and huge smiles, so much photographer fodder!

What an amazing year 2019 has been! So many highs from getting married myself to being part of 25 beautiful weddings all over the country, the icing on the cake was to be listed as one of the East Midlands’ Best Wedding Photographers at the 2020 Wedding Industry Awards.

I know you shouldn’t have favourites but I’m going to come out and say it… Irnham Hall is my favourite local wedding venue.  I’ve photographed so many weddings there over the years and feel excited every time I drive through those iron gates. In fact I love it so much, I got married there myself!

This was my second Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding and wow, what a wedding it was! I’ve been wanting to share these pictures from Nicole and Marcus’ day for months and it was pretty tough choosing such a small handful for the blog.
