Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding Photography

This was my second Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding and wow, what a wedding it was! I’ve been wanting to share these pictures from Nicole and Marcus’ day for months and it was pretty tough choosing such a small handful for the blog.

The beauty of Bassmead Manor Barns as a wedding venue is that everything you could possibly want as a wedding photographer is right there. That can actually make things harder in some ways, as you just want to shoot all of it. Thankfully when you get a couple like Nicole and Marcus you can actually have a pretty good shot at this and these two were absolute gems, making plenty of time for their photos and allowing us to really explore the place.

I actually photographed Nicole’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, so when Nicole and Marcus first got in touch about their wedding photography I knew that their taste would be excellent. I was told there’d be plenty of flowers and cake but was totally blown away when I saw how beautifully it worked out. With soft pastel colours and leafy, lush flowers everything worked so well with the character of the barns. We were very lucky to have a warm June day and after the ceremony in the Rickety Barn guests tucked into drinks and canapes in the gardens. There were lots of mini-guests at this wedding which is something I love – children are so much fun to photograph! This wedding is just dreamy, I really hope you enjoy looking through the pictures!
