Autumn is one of my favourite seasons for weddings and in particular at my favourite wedding venue, Irnham Hall. I was over the moon when Esther and Daniel got in touch to enquire about their wedding plans for October 2022 and told me they were aiming for a “regal autumnal” vibe with an abundance of flowers and statement gown by Milla Nova.

Sometimes as a wedding photographer you come across a venue you instantly fall in love with.  For me that venue is Caswell House in Oxfordshire. I’ve photographed several weddings at this gorgeous barn venue and never pass up a chance to go back again.

Holkham Hall has got to be one of the most beautiful and luxurious venues in Norfolk. With its incredible marble hall, private beach and gorgeous surroundings, it’s a venue which is on pretty much every photographer’s bucket list.

As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer, it’s always a treat when I get to photograph weddings in the beautiful town of Stamford. Even more so when the venue is in a family home because for me, family is the life and soul of a wedding story.   When Tanya & James got in touch about their wedding in Stamford, they were very keen to go for a very natural and un-posed style of photography.

What an amazing year 2019 has been! So many highs from getting married myself to being part of 25 beautiful weddings all over the country, the icing on the cake was to be listed as one of the East Midlands’ Best Wedding Photographers at the 2020 Wedding Industry Awards.

Sometimes, certain weddings stick in my mind so clearly I’m pretty sure I could write out a minute by minute account of them. Ella and James’ wedding at Orchardleigh Estate is one of them, where I have so many memories in so much detail, that it’s a bit overwhelming where on earth to start writing!

When Bo and Andy got in touch about their Chinese-English fusion wedding I was ridiculously excited! First off, Bo has been a friend of mine since secondary school (we won’t go into details about how old that makes us now) so I knew that the man she was marrying must be pretty special!

I think all wedding photographers remember the Summer of 2018 as the never ending wedding heatwave. Weeks upon weeks of hot weather and glorious sunshine but typically – this was the year I decided to take my first Summer holiday in years and missed out on most of it.

If you’d asked me three months ago what we were doing for our first wedding anniversary, I’d have said that we were planning a trip away over the Easter break, a nice meal out in the same village as our venue, and that I’d secretly ordered a wedding album as a surprise gift for Jon (my husband). Now, in the middle of coronavirus lockdown, it’s a rather different story.
