Burghley House Wedding Photography
As a Stamford wedding photographer, I’m incredibly lucky to have Burghley House right on my doorstep.

Burghley House offers everything you could possibly dream of as a wedding photographer – sweeping scenery, dramatic architecture and famous murals at every turn. Assia & James’ chose a winter wedding at Burghley House and wanted to make the most of its striking interiors for their photos, with just a quick visit to the Lion Bridge to take in the views.
Their celebrant-led ceremony took place in incredible The Bow Room, surrounded by 17th-century murals stretching from floor to ceiling, before moving on to a festive feast in the Baronial Hall. Complete with Christmas crackers and roaring fireplace it felt like one big family celebration.
While Burghley is undeniably stunning, what I’ll remember most about this wedding is just how joyful and relaxed it felt from start to finish – zero stress, maximum fun. Assia and James were completely in the moment the entire day, which made photographing their wedding an absolute dream.
