October 2012 saw me back in London for Ellen and Toby’s wedding, which I suspected would be full of visual delights as Ellen is a rather creative newspaper designer. True to form Ellen and Toby made all their decorations themselves and were joined by an army of volunteers to transform their venue into a unique and vivid space. Two dedicated friends made their four tier cake and Ellen’s mum created the beautiful orange and cream-themed bouquets and buttonholes. I particularly liked the gifts Ellen gave to her bridesmaids in the morning – little vintage lockets each containing a personal letter written on concertina paper – and the order of service which contained short biographies and pictures of all their guests!
Ellen and Toby wanted their portraits to have an urban vibe so we took to backstreets of East London and also St Katherine’s Dock for good measure. Have fun browsing through this gorgeous wedding!
