Kathryn and Tiff’s wedding was one of the most emotional weddings I’ve ever had the joy of photographing. These two have been together for a long time, through the thick and thin of life, and it was a real pleasure to be part of their wedding at Prestwold Hall last July.
Kathryn and Tiff wanted their wedding to be a relaxed and fun yet elegant occasion. Prestwold Hall proved to be the perfect choice, with its beautiful grounds and truly lovely staff who helped everything run swimmingly all day long. The original plan was to hold their legal marriage ceremony in the library and a Christian blessing outside, however when the time came the great British weather decided against the latter and both ceremonies took place indoors. It didn’t matter a jot, both ceremonies were so beautiful that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (and that includes myself and second-shooter Olivia!). As the weather was a little wet in the afternoon we decided to take Kathryn and Tiff’s couple portraits in the evening, when we were treated to the most beautiful warm sunshine in the gardens. Kathryn and Tiff put an enormous amount of effort into the decorations for their day, collecting hundreds of jamjars, candles and pinecones to decorate the tables in the grand dining room. I really enjoyed shooting this wedding and the double dad-daughter dance was one of the best dances I’ve ever seen! I hope you enjoy browsing through some of their lovely photos.
