Kate and Matt’s wedding was fueled by my three favourite things – cake, tea and colour!
The day kicked off in Kate and Matt’s home-town of Cheltenham with myself and second shooter Liv covering the boys’ and girls’ morning preparations. The stunning Cheltenham Pump Rooms later set a stunning scene for the wedding ceremony and also provided the perfect bit of shelter for photos during a typical springtime shower. Kate’s super cute pooch Phoebe even made a special appearance at one point which made hearts melt all round.
After a few photos at the Pump Rooms the fun continued at Great Barrington Village Hall, a fab little venue hidden away in the Cotswolds. I think my jaw dropped as I walked into the hall for the first time – it was packed to the rafters with flowers, candles, food and all kinds of hand-crafted details. Kate and Matt had hinted that there may be a Pre-Raphealite style to their wedding and we certainly had fun capturing every little sumptuous detail on camera. I think this is the kind of wedding which will inspire many couples who are after a relaxed yet intimate vibe to their wedding day, happy browsing!
