Wedisson Award Winning Photographer

Every time I head out to a wedding I go with the sole purpose of creating a beautiful set of images that my couples will love. I’ve never really thought much about entering competitions, but this year I thought it could be a fun thing to try out and am so really thrilled to announce that one of my images has just won an award in the latest Wedisson Awards Collection!

Wedisson is an international wedding photography competition which holds awards each month to showcase images from around the world. My winning image was from Leah and Rob’s wedding near Leicester last August and was taken just after dusk. I was really drawn to the fairy lights which led into the tipi and, given the weather that day had been pretty stormy, wanted to capture some of that atmosphere in the dark blue sky. Thank you Leah and Rob for stepping out of the party to create this image with me, couldn’t have done it without you!

Katie and James’ wedding took place at the gorgeous Oakham Castle in Rutland and the William Cecil in Stamford.
