Tanya & James’ Stamford Wedding

As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer, it’s always a treat when I get to photograph weddings in the beautiful town of Stamford. Even more so when the venue is in a family home because for me, family is the life and soul of a wedding story.

When Tanya & James got in touch about their wedding in Stamford, they were very keen to go for a very natural and un-posed style of photography. Apart from the key family photos and one or two of them together, they wanted everything else to be totally unscripted, unposed and documentary. I love getting that sort of creative freedom from my couples, but also I love how this approach allows a wedding to flow naturally and be completely uninterrupted.

I was joined by our second shooter Jason on this occasion, so he spent some time at the pub with the guys while I was with Tanya and the girls getting ready. It’s so incredibly useful having two pairs of eyes at a wedding, especially when there’s a big guest list like this.

Hope you enjoy having a browse through these beautiful, natural moments of a superb September wedding.
