Amy and Martin’s wedding took me to Bassmead Manor Barns for the first time, a lovely little venue tucked away in the Cambridgeshire countryside. I’d been looking forward to seeing Bassmead for a long time as I’d heard such good reviews and can honestly say these were all well-deserved. The whole day ran so smoothly!
Amy and Martin’s wedding took place in mid-October with a real feel of Autumn in the air. We were lucky to have a warm, dry day with gorgeous sunlight flickering through the yellow and red leaves – every photographer’s dream for an autumnal wedding. Their ceremony took place in the Rickety Barn and was followed by drinks and canapes in the converted Moat Barn. The venue was styled with a harvest festival theme and lots of personal touches. I especially loved Amy and Martin’s stationery by Ivy Ellen Weddings and how the tables took their names from family and friends’ pet dogs – such a sweet idea! The whole day was so relaxed and easy-going, I was really pleased to be a part of Amy and Martin’s day and can’t wait to shoot at Bassmead Manor Barns again later this year.
If you’re looking for a Bassmead Manor Barns photographer for your wedding please do get in touch to enquire about your date. I loved shooting here and would whole-heartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a barn wedding venue in Cambridgeshire.
