Jaclyn and Andrew’s wedding took place in Edinburgh on the first day of March and was very different from any other wedding I’ve ever photographed. With their families spread across the globe, from America to Spain, Jaclyn and Andrew decided to have a very small wedding, but wanted a variety of beautiful photographs to send out to family and friends who couldn’t be there on the day.
After the ceremony we spent most of the afternoon taking pictures on Edinburgh’s spectacular Calton Hill, which feels a world away from the busy city below. We were lucky to have blue skies and gentle sunshine to work with, more than we could ever have hoped for in the Scottish Winter. After a few shots of the couple with the cityscape below, the adventurous bride agreed to be hosited up on top of the National Monument with help from several passing tourists to grab some super-stylish shots before the blue sky disappeared. Here are a few shots from our few hours together.
